about the best cordless solution so far…

Ok this is a very good tool. Milwaukee is very late to the small lithium market but they do appear to have done their homework. I really like the M12 line of Milwaukee tools.

having the right tool for the job is so much easier

The specs for the drill can be found a number of places. My own personal experiences are as follows:

Handy tool with plenty or torque but misleading directions

I bought this to replace my venerable Makita 9v right angle. I find it to be much nicer, and in a way, I’m glad I lost the Makita. I’m a marine electrician which means that I’m frequently working in confined spaces with little or no light. The led light on this is a real blessing. The chuck works great and grips bits snugly. The motor has plenty of torque, as long as you have realistic expectations. It isn’t intended to replace a high voltage 1/2″ drill. So use it for what it is intended for and I think you’ll be very pleased.

Milwaukee Right Angle Drill is just perfect…!!!!

Bought mine at HomeDepot over 2 years ago on a pre-Christmas sale, plus got another 10% off — out the door price $85. I was doubtful at first.

The best solution for right-angle drilling

I really like this drill. If you need to drill in close quarters where there isn’t room for a regular drill, this is great.

I have heard about the Milwaukee quality and this was my first tool that I bought from Milwaukee.

Perfect for Hard to Reach Places!

I purchased this tool for one purpose and that was to use it in hard to reach and tight squeeze type places that a regular drill driver cannot get into. It does that job and then some. It has a good amount of tourque for a tool of its size and it’s battery lasts a fairly long time. The last part about the battery life actually surprised me. I didn’t expect it to last half as long as it does. Back to the use of the tool, it’s got a good feel to it and the weight is pretty well balanced. I also dropped it from a 6 foot ladder and it didn’t crack or cause any damage. I prefer not to repeat that bit but just thought I would pass it on!! Overall, I would easily hands down recommend this little drill/driver as the perfect complement to your regular full size unit.

Reach for it More Than My Other M12s.

I’ve had this tool for a while and find myself using it more than I expected. It’s great for those small-2-mid jobs at the finish level or just beyond, this drill won’t be punching through that stud with an auger, hole saw, 3/4″+ spade bit(s) etc, but I digress. Good speed, torque, power & control for: #1 a 12v tool #2 a cordless RADD(Right Angle Drill Driver). Available XC M12 battery, 5 year warranty, heavy/solid, easy to use. I haven’t found anything major to complain about other than an electronic clutch. Good run time with the regular M12 battery. I’d recommend this tool to anyone in the assembly, electrical, handyman or cabinet business’.

Best Right Angle Out There

The Milwaukee Right Angle is a quality product. Use it one time and you will know. This is my third right angle. The first two were the Makita 9v. Wore out the first one and the second one is still going but I don’t want to buy anymore ni-cad batteries. Especially for $40 a pop. Lithium is the way to go for sure. I’m a handyman and this right angle fits into my tool bucket just perfect. It handles 99% of all my drilling needs. I’m going to get one for my friend as a gift for xmas in our annual gift exchange.

I remodeled my house with this drill

I bought this solely for one very important screw in a tight spot that I’d wasted hours on with other tools–the Milwaukee worked first try. It’s now my favorite tool. It never let me down in eight months of remodeling my house. I never felt the need to buy another cordless drill, not even a conventional-shape one. It’s tiny, quiet, and has surprising power. For me the battery typically lasted anywhere from several days to several weeks, unless I was using it constantly. I got in the habit of not worrying about charging it at night, and being surprised when the battery finally did discharge. No problem–take an early lunch and it will be fully charged again in an hour.
