Works great except that I keep bumping the forward reverse switch

Works great except that I keep bumping the forward reverse switch. This switch moves to easily. Should be more like the corded model, or the switch repositioned. Hence 4 stars.
Very Nice Gun
I got to use this gun with the collated screw adapter a couple of days ago on a small drywall job (kitchen remodel)… It took me a few moments to figure out the adjustments to get the proper drywall screw size set and the proper depth setting… Once I got it dialed in, it set screws with ease and the light weight of the gun (even with the collated adapter attached) was awesome… A couple of times, I managed to hit the reverse lever on the gun, which was a bit of nuisance (It took me a second to figure out why my fasteners stopped sinking)… I found that the forward/reverse lever moves very easily and you really have to pay attention to not touching it. I also wish the trigger hold button was in a location that could easily be depressed with the same hand your holding the screw gun with…. I find myself having to use my opposite hand to depress that button, but maybe with more use/practice, I’ll get it down.. For a cordless drywall gun, I really love this thing… Collated screws load very easily, gun has plenty of power, extremely comfortable, and very well balanced…
Even for a DIY’er this is well worth the $$$ to save TONS time!
This thing is impressive, I am not sure of how many screws this will actually drive on a charge but its way more than one can imagine. I am finishing my basement and I bought this to speed up the drywall installation and that it does! This is well worth the time savings over a typical drill/driver. The depth adjustment is great and works as advertised, If there was one thing I would change, the ‘ON’ trigger lock needs to be a little harder to release, with a simple bump of the trigger you turn it off, yes I am sure there is a valid reason for this but it would be nice if it was a little more difficult to turn it ‘OFF’ when locking the trigger in the on position.
A perfect weapon for many projects.
I can not say enough good things about this gun, if you hang drywall, even occasionally I recommend this gun, w a 5 amp batt it easily goes half a day. None of my crew has even brought out a corded gun in weeks. Origanlly bought this for doing mall barricades and fire wall top outs, where cords are not the best, but it quickly has become their tool of choice for many jobs. Led light is especially handy for toping out in the bar joist which are always dark. Wouldn’t use It for decking or big screws, bu it wasn’t meant for that, that’s what the impact drivers are for. Highly recommend this gun, and I rarely post a review.
Great tool but limited to only Phillips bits
This had all the promise of being a top-notch product but … whhen used with the collated srew attachment it uses a paternnal bit that is not a standard shank size. And Dewalt only make Phillips bits for this tool so if you like using square heads (like I do) then … you can’t. Poor oversight by Dewalt.
It’s the perfect tool. It’s not as strong as a cord …
It’s the perfect tool. It’s not as strong as a cord and a corded gun. But it gets the job done. Especially when it’s in a dusty area. Or when screwing off the bottom of the boards. And it’s plastic because it makes the gun really light. And it’s not cheap pladtic.
Nice but nosecone removal does ruin depth adjustment
Nice and light. Just as good as my old corded one but cordless and lighter. Only complaint is that after it gets a little dusty when you try to remove the nose cone it jacks up the depth adjustment. Luckily I don’t really need to do that much though.
0AH battery however it’s all around just a great tool!

I have found this tool to be worth every dollar invested. Of course it’s lighter when using a XR 2.0AH battery however it’s all around just a great tool!
Excellent gun makes work more productive even better with the collated magazine.
