Fantastic!

I will preface this review with that I haven’t had a functioning cordless drill for 7-8 years. After having trouble with batteries failing, I went back to standard corded drills and hadn’t looked back.

20 volt max is the way to go

I am doing a major addition plus some refurbishing of my house. Since I am doing most of the work myself, my reward is to buy the tools I want to use for the job. My first purchase last August was the new 20v max impact wrench and hammer drill kit to replace my dying 18 volt drills. I am now utterly sold on the 20v max tools. They are typically lighter, more compact, and a bit more powerful than the older 18v tools.

Comfortable grip, good lighting, decent torque

I don’t have any prior experience with a right angle drill and 20v drills in general. I found the torque to be very good, and much better than what I was used to with my current dewalt drill. The compact head allows access to some tight spots with sufficient torque to drill some decent 1 inch wood holes.

Allows to reach where standard drill can’t

I have been using this tool for almost 4 years at my workplace. It never let me down.

Purchased ro replace an old nicad battery Dewalt angle head drill….which was still working fine. However the old nicad batteries were shot. Wanted to upgrade ro lothium. Used the new lithium drill numerous time and it works very well.

DEWALT DCD740C1 20-Volt MAX Li-Ion Compact Right Angle

Ever since I seen this drill in action on You-Tube, I wanted one. I’ve had so many tight spots where this drill has saved the day, that it has paid for its self already.. I learned quick that this drill has some good power and it can rap your knuckles if you aren’t careful. Another win for Dewalt!

A great tool and works in those hard to get to spots.

This may seem like a frivolous tool but when it is needed there is no tool that works as well as this one, I got it during a kitchen remodel and have since used it in so many situations where it is the tool that just works and works well.

I use this at work and have been waiting for the price to drop to pick this up for home. It did and I jumped. The drill is awesome, There are different Amphour batteries you can pick up depending on the job you are doing. The quick release chuck is awesome and really quick.

Perfect

Exactly what I needed to install overhead vents with screws. Now I’m finding more and more uses.

A must have for any tool collection

I prefer this drill to my other dewalt drill. It’s so easy to get into tight spaces and performs incredibly well.
